Industry Events CSM Golf Tournament Another Huge Success
These talented golfers secured a top 5 finish in CSM's golf tournament played at Indian Hills Golf Course, June 17th
Southern California Ready Mix Concrete Association (SCRMCA) Awards Dinner highlights outstanding achievement in the ready mix industry.

Oliver, Owner, Paramount Ready Mix Co-Chair, Awards Committee The 29th Annual Cornerstone Concrete Excellence Awards dinner was held in March at the University Club in Pasadena, CA. Nearly 200 representatives of the ready-mix, cement and aggregate industries attended this popular event. Lehigh Southwest was well represented during the awards portion of the evening. Dave was recognized for his outstanding contributions to our industry for many years, including current President of the National Ready Mix Concrete Association and past President of Lehigh Southwest Cement Company for nearly a decade. Mike has spent over 30 years in the concrete industry since graduating from Chapman University in Orange, California and serving his country as a Sergeant in the US Army. Mike began at Flintkote Blue Diamond as a ready mix salesman in 1971. After 5 years in ready mix sales, Mike moved on to the Zeecon division of Crown Zellerbach and served the concrete industry as an admixture representative. At Zeecon, Mike spent 5 years in Southern California before moving to Northern California as Zeecon's Northern California sales manager. In 1986 Mike brought his family back to Southern California and accepted a position in sales at Standard Concrete. Mike remains a valuable employee of Standard Concrete and today is the Los Angeles County District sales manager.

More Industry Events National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA) Certified Concrete Sales Professional Training (CCSP) - Promoting Professionalism in the Concrete Construction Industry Through Education
Attentive classmates at the Module IV training class held recently in Covina, California. Attendees shown represented Standard Concrete Products and A & A Ready Mix, among others. For over 60 years, the NRMCA has represented producers of ready mixed concrete and those companies that provide materials and support the industry. NRMCA provides its members with education, training, product promotion assistance, information on research and technology, and representation before Congress and regulatory bodies. The primary goal of NRMCA is to increase the growth and professionalism of the industry. With those goals in mind, the NRMCA sponsors a four part Module training for industry professionals in the areas of:
